Hi Ray,

Thank you! Jupiter is at the meridian just after 2:30 am local time from my backyard at the deliriously wonderful elevation of 45 degrees - best position since winter 2004.

all the best,

Alan

Hi Alan,

Really top-drawer image there! I was out too but the seeing was awful for me. I stayed at it until just after 3:00 BST then unfortunately Jupiter goes behind a rooftop from my observatory. What time does Jupiter culminate your image was taken quite late in the morning (I get confused with times around the Earth).

Great stuff Alan as always you're an inspiration

Best regards

Ray

Reasonably good Buffalo seeing and a lot of RGB data to look through... the two red spots are quite touching at the moment!

steady skies,
