Subject: Astro IIDC 4.06.00 GM1 available

Hi Folks;

I've just posted the Golden Master 1 version of Astro IIDC 4.06.00:

Fixes are listed in the ReadMeFirst file. Other than bug fixes (which there have been virtually none reported, so either no one is using it or I'm a better coder than I thought), this is expected to be the  final Application build before the installer bundling and documentation is completed. I'm still working on the manual, installer and all the updated software infrastructure for it, so that will take a while before it's completed.

PS: The Scale of things in space..

Have a look at my M1 image here:

M1 is approximately 6,500 light years away and is about 11 light years in visible long axis dimension. In my image, that measures out to be 322.4 pixels and therefore each image pixel is 0.034 light years or 2157 AU's (Astronomical Units) or 323 billion kilometers in size. Each tiny little red knot on the nebula strands in M1 is big enough to hold 27 of our solar systems (ours is 80 AU across) inside of it. Amazing how vast space is, considering M1 is next door so to speak in our Galaxy.

TTYL ..
