Subject: Re: Flea2 cameras on the 'bay
Good to know. I wonder why they suspected fraud? Did someone flag the ad?
The flea2 is a nice camera. Reasonably fast, and though not as sensitive as the Exview had equipped flea3 and Chameleon cameras, it does well for me.
I was contemplating adding a monochrome version, and using two scopes to acquire luminance and RGB simultaneously. ...but I'm silly like that sometimes!

Tim,
eBay pulled the ad because of suspect fraud, however I had already
paid for mine and the seller was kind enough to ship it for free.
This kinda made me suspicious along with his zero feedback rating but
the purchase was completely covered by eBay. I even have a valid
tracking number and its left the US from San Francisco. Be
interesting to see whats in the package. Meanwhile eBay promises to
refund my money.

Apparently, these all sold or the ad was otherwise pulled... hm.

I understand they`ll provide the same forwarding service
internationally but to verify for yourself send them an email..!
Lyka got back to me regarding forwarding a CGEM mount yesterday (for
when I can afford it next year) within a day..

It's been a while since there were any Point Grey cameras on ebay:

Apparently both mono and color versions, though I'd ask for
clarification before buying.
I have the color flea2, and love it. It's nice to have some real
estate on the chip for finding and centering, before going to a
smaller ROI around the target for higher frame rates.
