I believe that I am seeing a large crater complex on the right hand side of Callisto, there is a distinct dark circular region in the red and green channels.


Interesting, and a split shot of each R G B images with zero compression might illustrate it. Enlarging and brightening the JPEG doesn't show much on Callisto except the disk shape and possibly a darker band / pixel at an angle?
