Subject: Sunspot #1109

Well, it's not the most exciting solar image but I had to dodge several hours of clouds this Sunday morning to get it and it was first light with my improved 80mm PST mod scope.  My AP Traveler is semipermanently set up for an ongoing DSO mosaic I'm making so I decided to spring for a cheap used $60 Celestron 90mm f/11 refractor, cut off about 13 cm of it and made an adaptor flange to install an equally cheap all plastic Meade 2" focuser.  Despite the cheapness it actually works quite well, in combination with a BF10 (BF5 comes stock with PST) I've gotten a much wider FOV and less troublesome internal reflections.  I was quite happy with the resolution of the solar surface.
