Oh geez. Rats. Yes I am running an old g3. I do have a mac friend who can perhaps help me out. In the meantime things are still running well with Astro 3. Appreciate your work on this.

Hi Tim;

I'll send it to you privately.

Is your iMac a G4 or an x86 Processor? Your going to have to check

using the "About This Mac.." and see what processor it's got.

We can no longer support G3 processors or OSX 10.3.x in Astro IIDC

4.06.00 - Apple effectively removed that ability in their XLoad

Compilers (we can barely do OSX 10.4 now). CodeWarrior was

exterminated by Apple (can't compete with "Free" even if it slow and

buggy like XLoad) and code built with it can not be debugged anymore.

I made this announcement a few months back on this list,  asked for

feedback and got maybe 2 comments that no one was using 10.3.x or G3's.

On a related note. When you upgrade to a new payed version,we now

allow you to switch the license to another Mac or a Camera (your

choice). That's actually in the Manual for Astro IIDC 4.05.04 or higher.

So if you do have a G3 processor, you can probably find a used G4 or

higher Mac really cheap now a days.

And I'm finishing off the web site hopefully today (or maybe tomorrow)

for the switch over to direct PayPal (or credit card via PayPal). Kagi

will be available as our back up processor in case someone absolutely

can not use PayPal.

HTH..

Milton,

Want to upgrade to 4 from 3.02 but lost unlock key code - which

stops me in my tracks.

You see, I now use my iMac exclusively for astroimaging and I pretty

well wiped it clean...along with the Astro key code from 07. I do

however have a hard copy of my receipt for the Astro 3.02 which

contains details of the purchase.

Hoping you will throw me a lifeline.
