Here are the stats for the red file.  I don't quite understand why the posted file seems a lot bluer than the processing I did on it.  But I'll not worry about it much for this post because it was really mostly a test of the monochrome/RGB image acquisition process.  I want to make sure I can and want to do it, before spending the money on a faster mono camera (probably an exhad flea3).
