Seeing was predicted to be very good this morning and I had wisely setup my 12"

finished positioning the scope, finding and focusing on Jupiter, it was already
impossible to discern Jupiter in the bright morning sky with the naked eye. I
had just enough time to do a single capture at 6:00 and this time everything
worked!

Jupiter is still quite small and continued to rise another 10 degrees by 8:00 so
better opportunities will arise by October. Still nothing like the first
Jupiter of the season.
I've moved the Skywatcher Dob to an EQ6 mount (w 60lbs of counterweight) so I
guess it's technically a reflector and no longer a dob.
