Subject: Messier 11 form Last Night

Hi Folks;

It finally stopped raining and blowing so I managed to image M11 and M15 last night.

This is a quick processing job of M11:

Seeing was in the 4 to 5 arc second FWHM range so it's a bit soft, but the stars are nice and round across the frame and my guiding was spot on.

AT8RC scope, 1625 mm focal length (0.83 arc seconds per pixel), six  10 minutes luma binned 1x1, three 3 minute red binned 2x2, three 2.5 minute green binned 2x2, three 2.5 minute blue binned 2x2. Guided, stacked, aligned and processed in Astro IIDC 4.07.

The surface wind picked up just after I finished shooting M11 so M15 is softer and guiding could not compensate for the gusty west to east wind which added about 0.2 arc seconds of elongation to the stars on the RA Axis.

TTYL..
