Subject: Turbulence

Hi Folks;

Here's a short 10 second clip of the moon showing the turbulence I encountered last night:

The Clear Sky Clock was saying it was good seeing - I beg to differ :)

This is shot at 1625 mm FL with a red filter using a Grasshopper ROI'd FOV (320x240) at 2.84 ms exposures per frame and at 48 frames per second.

The moon was 28° above the horizon when I shot that and was out over the river valley and grass then. And people wonder why I don't do much long focal length Lunar / Planetary / Solar imaging :)

TTYL..
