That was my third attempt at Corot-2B over 2 years. My main issue is how erratic my seeing can be here, which really screws things up. Last night seeing was extremely consistent over 2 hours and the sky clarity was also good too.


How did you determine the start and mid point?


I used the "Exoplanet Transit Database":

to determine where the expected start and midpoint should be.


For Corot-2B I used the dates shown at:


http://var2.astro.cz/ETD/predict_detail.php?STARNAME=CoRoT-2&PLANET=b&PER=&M=


That's the transit times over the next 365 days for my location at Longitude 246° East and Latitude 51° N.
