Hi Folks;

Just in case any of you are interested, there is another opportunity to record the transit of Corot-2B on the sunday evening of September 4th (MST).

It starts on September 5th 2011 at 4:02 UTC, mid point is 5:10 UTC and ending 6:19 UTC time. Ideally you want to be recording it for 30 minutes before and after too, which stretches the event out to almost 3.3 hours.

From Calgary Alberta (MST) that is September 4th at 10:02 pm start, 11:10 pm middle and 12:19 pm end.

Depending on what the forecast is (the NAM 300 mb turbulence forecast has been quite good for me), I likely will move my scope onto the grass so I can get that extra 20° of west FOV the night before and record the whole thing in one shot.

TTYL..
