Hi Raye;

The same version of Astro IIDC  (must be 4.06.00 or higher to support USB models) can handle both cameras just fine. As long as your not running them at the same time, then you won't need to make a second copy. If both cameras were attached at launch, Astro IIDC will ask you which camera to use.

When I do imaging and guiding, I just make a second copy of the Astro IIDC app (in the finder, locate "Astro IIDC", select "Duplicate" from the File menu and it creates the "Astro IIDC copy") and then have one app handle the imaging and the second copy handle guiding. Preferences are stored by Camera model number, so settings are always independent of each other.

If you want to add a Camera specific license, then use our "reduced price second copy Astro IIDC 4.x offer":

http://www.outcastsoft.com/ASC_SecondCopyAstroIIDC4_PAYPAL.html

and you can use that Camera with any Mac. Note that each time Astro IIDC launches, that camera must be attached to the Mac so it can verify the Camera license or it launches in "demo Mode".

Hi Milton,

Will I be able to run 2 different versions of Astro IIDC on my Macbook one for the Chameleon and my current version for my DMK? Obviously I won't be running these at the same time but I'd rather take the camera registration route as I like to process on my iMac.
