Subject: NGC 6888 Crescent Nebula
Hi Folks;
Here is the Crescent Nebula I shot Sept 24th out at the lake:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Astro_IIDC/files/DSO/NGC6888_20110924_MJA.jpg
AT8RC Scope 1625 mm Focal Length - Cooled Grasshopper - 1x1 Bin 16Min Luma, 2x2 Binned 4 min Red, 4 min Green, 5 min Blue. Measured FWHM is is the 2 to 3 arc seconds FWHM range.
Imaged, Guided, Captured and Processed with Astro IIDC.
The "Blue Lines" at +45 through the bright stars was caused by a overhanging power line, which the scope crossed during the Blue filter exposures. I probably need 30+ minute of exposures or a scope with 2x the aperture to really capture it well.
TTYL..
