Subject: Moon tonight..

Hi Folks;

I'd forgotten that the moon was full (been overcast the last few days), so imaging anything over Mag 11 is a waste of time (sky background is much too bright). So no Asteroid Photometry for a few days.

If you have good seeing tonight (I don't - Jet stream is pushing in), you might want to have a look at the Lunar North Pole tonight.

There is a nice big crater (probably Pythagoras) with a large central peak in profile tonight. The shadow of the peak is cast on the craters wall, so it looks quite photogenic.

I was hoping to maybe imaging a bit of jupiter, but I have that boiling turbulence tonight, so stuff looks like jello even at 1625 mm focal lengths.

TTYL..
