Nice shot.


Quick question on Stacking and Image Processing:


Are you using the "Sharpen Frames by" pop up menu in conjunction with "Reduce Image Noise when Sharpening" check box in the "Stacking Options:" window? It will show up in the Stacking Log


And for Image processing, are you using one of the noise reduction pop up menu items?


I'm trying to figure out where the "chunky appearance" comes from in that and the lunar image.

I use a crosshair eyepiece to center the target, then flip the view to the rear cell of the ETX-125 for imaging.  Never noticed this until it came out in the processing.
