Subject: Io, GRS and Jupiter Photo Op
Hi Folks;
There is an interesting transit of Io across the GRS (Great Red Spot) and then Io's shadow crosses the GRS tonight. I had hoped to image Io and it's shadow tonight over aprox. 4 hour period (I have an Apple script written to capture 1 minute duration movies at 3 minute intervals over 4 hours) , especially since the CSK (Clear Sky Clock) has good seeing predicted for Calgary:

However an ice fog has just rolled in (at -15°C and dropping rapidly) and the clear sky has gone.
But maybe someone else has better seeing and can record it. The best time to record it is from 7:30 pm to 11 pm MST.
TTYL..
