Subject: M37 and Eskimo Nebula Image

Hi Folks;

Two more image I took with the "Mystery" Camera. All are uncooled (ambient temp was -3°C, camera temp +4°C) with no flats or darks taken.

Messier 37 1650 mm AT8RC Scope - 5 minutes Luma, 1.25 minutes binned 2x2 Red, Green and Blue with AstroDon "E" filters:

Seeing was poor and turbulence was really erratic. At times, my Mag 6 guide star would shake so hard at 15 fps that it would disappear for up to 10 seconds.

The faintest star I can detect in M37 was Mag 17.2. Sky background due to light pollution in Calgary was 10,700 - so under dark skies I likely could have reached Mag 19 stars.

I hope to have an Alpha version of the new multi threaded Stacking code  in Astro IIDC 4.08.0 possibly by the end of next week (i.e. March3 or so).

TTYL..
