HI Milton,
I meant to type "signal clearly in the B&G channels"
As it turns out, I saw another imager post Mars shot somewhat later and west of Toronto and that limb whiteness does turn out to be a long thin stretch of clouds.
Is it faster writing to an SD card than to a HD?

Me again, some people have been wondering about the intense white

settings on the camera. Could be clouds? Any ideas?
Very nice mars shot.
When you say "clear in B & G" you mean no feature present or just white?
The blue white color means that all three channels have to be about
equal strength, and they match the other blue white clouds and polar
features. Since you don't have a similar feature on the opposite side,
I can't see it being a sharpness artifact or an alignment issue. I
tend to think clouds / haze on the horizon and it's being lit up by
the sun.
