Subject: Super Nova just south of Mars

Hi Folks;

Apparently a star went Super Nova in the vicinity of Galaxy M95:

It's still brightening and is around Mag 13.5 now.

The interesting part is Galaxy M95 is just 1° south of Mars, so it would be quite easy to find.

If the CSK is correct (and the 70+ kmph winds have die down) , I may have a 3 hour window to try capturing it tonight. That an attempt at capturing "makemake" (136472)

a ~ 17.2 magnitude Dwarf Planet out in the Kuiper Belt.

TTYL..
