Hi Folks;

It's been 2 weeks since the last 4.08.00 Alpha release of Astro IIDC:

and I have had no bug reports or issues of any kind reported. If your having any issues, I would appreciate hearing about it soonest as I would like to move it up to the Beta version start of next week and likely golden master official release first week of May.

On an unrelated note, I always have trouble ordering FireWire cables and Adapters within Canada that offer multiple ways of shipping. Ordering through the US usually means  I have to go UPS or Feddex and that adds $20 to $40 to the cost. Because you can't track a mail package once it crosses the US or Canadian border, most will not send via postal as there is no way to know if it was delivered.

I recently found and placed an order for a short FireWire 800 cable and an FW400 to FW800 adapter at "JustOneCable.ca":

It arrived within 5 days via Canada post and cost $9 CDN for shipping. And there pricing was really good too. So if your in Canada and want FireWire (or other type) cables or adapters, you might want to check them out. They also ship to the US too if people are interested.
