Neat!!

I like using these little cameras with your software so much that I think I'm inclined to wait until you can talk about the one(s) you've been testing before making my next camera purchase.

I think you're right about the mount controll issue.

I mounted these on a dovetail bar and put the assembly on my Tak

I left my Keyspan serial adapter at home, figuring I wouldn't need

it.  My mount has a bad socket for the hand controller, so I had

planned to use the "virtual" buttons in Astro IIDC and Sky Safari

for centering and guiding.  Well, it turns out that I can't have the

Skyfi AND the GPUSB connected to the mount at the same time, or the

virtual buttons won't work.

That has to be a SkiFi or Sky Safari or TAK mount issue continually

accessing the mount or something. I have a KeySpan serial with SNP 6.4

or Equinox Pro for GoTo control and either the GPUSB / GPIO board for

ST4 Guiding control attached to my HEQ5 mount at the time and they

operate fine together.

I reprocessed you original image:

with Astro IIDC and you can just pick out the irregular spiral arms in

M66

and the dark lane in M65:

too. My images above are ~ 16 minute exposures and with a bigger

aperture too, so getting what you did out of your images is pretty cool.
