Hi Stephen:

For those of us on the wrong coast to attend NEAF...  ...well, I can't think of what to say!  Maybe, would the sale price be accessible to NEAF wannabes online somehow, perhaps?  ;oD

Or, would you and/or Pt Grey consider having a booth at RTMC next month  or PATS in September?

Yes Milton the PGR rep and I are having a great time at NEAIC showing off their stuff.  NEAF starts Saturday and I will have 8 LARGE narrowband solar scopes set up with ASTRO IIDC running on most of them for your imaging pleasure..:)

I will also have a booth inside with PGR right next to me.  Come see us !  Lots of freebies!! PGR is offering an incredible deal on all of their cameras at NEAF that I can't reveal here but believe me, it is unbelievable...

Hi Folks;

I just got approval from Point Grey Research (PGR) to release my Review on the "Mystery Camera" - which is a Grasshopper 2 Monochrome Camera:

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Astro_IIDC/files/Other/PGR_GS2_Camera_Review.pdf

It's a 1.2 megabyte .pdf and besides characterizing the Grasshopper 2, it also compares the Grasshopper 2 to the Grasshopper 1 camera.

Also, if your attending NEAF, you can drop by the PGR Exhibitor booth and see some of their latest cameras too.

And lastly, Stephen Ramsden (http://www.solarastronomy.org/) will also be exhibiting at NEAF this year too, so if you want to see live Solar imaging with Astro IIDC and PGR cameras, drop by his booth / station.

Clear skies (it's raining here again).
