Subject: 2012 Venus Transit Movie
Hi All,
I put together a movie of some of the images that I shot from the 2012 Transit of Venus. I had the worlds largest sucker hole over my head for the entire time. There was a ring of clouds around the horizon for most of the day. They came well within 1 mile to the east at one point.
The movie images are unprocessed. I will go back and start processing all of these to see what I can do with them.
All things considered. I am very happy with how the 2012 Transit went. Good thing since I will miss the next one.
The scope was an Astro Physics 130GT with a 90 mm Solarmax II filter on an AP1200 mount. The camera was an 8 bit Imaging Source DMK 41BF02 controlled with Astro_IIDC.
