Hi Jim and others;
Thanks. That was a very unusually calm day for turbulence.

Hi Guys;
The 300 nm NAM forecast:
http://weather.unisys.com/nam/nam.php?plot=300&inv=0&t=4p
was right on the money - we had very low turbulence before it
clouded over this morning.
I shot that new big sunspot group at 3,850 mm focal length (2.5x
Televue) with the MAK 127 mm Orion scope white light filter, a red
Astrodon filter and the Grasshopper 2 camera cooled to 25°C (it's
43°C in the sun today - 33°C in the shade).
