Subject: Astro IIDC Main Web Site down

Hi Folks;

Apparently my ISP and Web Host are having some technical issues, so our main ASC web site (outcastsoft.com) is down. So you can't download anything from our web site.

This also affects my mail access too - so I can't send or receive using my normal "outcastsoft.com" address and can only use GMail to communicate.

If you have a tech issue, then I won't receive it via "outcastsoft.com" for the next while. The ISP doesn't have a ETA for a fix yet - but are aware of there is a problem.

And to top things off and make this 32°C indoor day a real peach - my newly Apple repaired Mac Book Pro 17" is again reporting hard drive errors in the Console log. The new drive last less than 30 days and is no longer booting because the disk error this time happened in some system files during the boot process. Neither the Snow Leopard nor Lion partitions are bootable - they hang and run the CPU up to maximum - almost making the Mac over heat.

Oddly enough the Windows 7 partition still boots up just fine and runs without a hitch - must be "luck of the draw" that no errors happened on any system critical sector for Windows.
