Yes. It has for about 12 months or so, as do the FireFly MV USB 2 cameras too. I have Chameleon USB 2 here for testing and it works fine.

I don't know if the USB 3 cameras will work on Mac USB 2 ports . The would only run at much reduced frame rates and I'm not sure that the USB 2 port will have enough power (0.5 amps maximum versus 0.9 amps for USB 3) to run the camera.
