Hi Alan ,

I saw it straight away the brightest part of the prominence is the elephants for leg stepping forward it's kind of in an "heroic" pose. Being graphic designers maybe we are more visually attuned to seeing pictures in things. I used to draw faces and stuff on my bedroom wallpaper based on the pattern it had my parents used to go Ape!

Great image I'll see if I can get a look tomorrow with my 80mm PST been too busy today (doing an astro advert!)

Thanks Milton. It worked superbly… no need for anything further. It's funny how when the seeing settles, everything falls into place so nicely… unlike most days when we are constantly jumping through burning hoops.

I find most are looking hard to see an elephant. It stood out so clearly to me. I must have spent way too much time watching Tarzan as a kid.

Hi Alan;

Outstanding image - and glad Astro IIDC works for you.

I initially didn't see the Sun Elephant, but eventually made it out.
