HI all.  I received mine.  Just want to throw out some info.

Item ships as brand new.  At least mine did.  All the PGR warranty and QA tape was still on the box unopened.

Took mine apart and removed the lens and M12 adapter

The lens does screw into the M12 lens holder.  This lens holder is located here if you need some info, cad drawings, etc.

20mm spacing, 16.8(length)x24.4(mounting hole to mounting hole) x16.2mm(height)

This site also sells cs mount lens holders.  These one’s should fit theFirefly MV’:

http://www.m12lenses.com/CS-Mount-Lens-Holder-Metal-p/pt-lh012csm.htm - 14.3mm collar - Metal

They do sell 2 other 20mm CS mount adapters.  One of them is the same as the link I just provided with a little shorter collar

http://www.m12lenses.com/CS-Mount-Lens-Holder-Metal-p/pt-lh013csm.htm - 12.75mm collar - Metal

This 3rd one doesn’t look right but just maybe the one.  It shows the spacing as 19.5mm.  It is also a plastic mount.  It also has the preforiations around the outside.

Thoughts?

Thanks

Thanks for pointing that out.

I had another look at the image and it looks like the lens is sitting in a "M12-0.5mm" mount. To remove the lens, just unscrew it all the way.

I also just checked the "Technical Reference manual" for the FireFly MV and they do list the lens mounting assembly for the board level cameras as "M12 Microlens Mount".

You can buy M12x0.5mm to C/Mount or 1.25" nose piece adapters too.

The cameras can be run in 8 or 16 bit (10 bit actual delivered) and have 6 micron square pixels.

They run as high as 210 fps in Format 7 ROI's 160x120.

HTH..
