Subject: PGR GrassHopper Express 2.8 and Extended Shutter

Hi Milton and Crew.

So I went out tonight to test my new cooler with some DSO work.  The PGR GHX 2.8 has always worked well doing solar.  I have always noticed the longer exposure times but of course in solar you don’t need those extended shutter times.  While trying to do DSO, any shutter speed over  .533 sec would cause the image never to change.  Meaning I could set the shutter speed at .533 and watch the diffraction rings of a star “pulse” or wave because of the seeing.  If I changed it to .766 or 1 second or 10min the star capture would never change.. It would freeze on the last .533 capture.  The count down on top of the video preview window will count down but the image never changes.  The program never froze, just the image would never do an extended exposure over .533 seconds.

If I went into preferences and uncheck PGR extended shutter support, the camera would work on all shutter speeds up to a maximum of 1 second without issues.  When you uncheck PGR extended shutter support, the maximum shutter time is 1 second.  If I check this box and restart Astro IIDC, the same issue happens like I explained above.

Thoughts?  Thanks..
