Well you can also blame Adobe. Or can U?  Adobe still is chapped that apple won't allow flash on IOS. So they kinda told there sales staff to push the windows side and offering substantial discounts for windows licenses. 


I worked in the radio business doing IT for years, and a few years ago a major station owner switched from mac to pc for production and broadcasting.
