Subject: Re: [Astro_IIDC] Astro IIDC 4.09.00 Final Disk Image Up
Hi Milton,
Please add me to the list of those who wish to order a "Golden Key" ($500 for unlimited Mac licenses) for Astro IIDC. I purchased a license key for one of my Macs this afternoon and have two other Macs (one currently on order) that I want to add. I know I'm somewhat late to the party, having just started not long ago with with PGR astroimaging, but I don't want to miss out on the final version of your outstanding opus. Please let me know if you require payment now and I will forward it to you.
Hope you have a great holiday weekend.
Very best regards,
Chris

Hi Folks;
I fixed the last few bugs I found (see the bottom of the "Read Me First.rtd" document for list), generated the final binaries, created a new installer from last weeks images and posted the final release version of Astro IIDC 4.09.00 (5.1 meg download):

I will update the Astro IIDC web site and post a Press Release to various Mac web sites on tuesday.
On a sales front, we are not even vaguely close reaching the 100 new sales "line in the sand" I drew, so this will very likely be the end.
I have taken delivery of the USB Flash drives I need for doing the "Golden Key" registration app and am close to having the prototype ready for testing next week. I expect it will be available by mid to late september and I can start shipping them out via Snail Mail.
If you are going to order one ($500 USD for unlimited Mac licenses), and have not indicated this to me yet, please do so soon so that I can order the hardware I need to fill the orders. Only a hand full of people are interested and I will not be ordering excess drives - so you could be stuck waiting a few weeks for them to arrive - and time is running out for how long I will continue offering it.
Once the "Golden Keys" start shipping, that will be the end of Astro IIDC as I generate no new revenue for repeat sales going forward.
Have a nice long weekend..
