Subject: Re: [Astro_IIDC] Jupiter impact w/ AstroIIDC

Hi George;

Thanks for the log and don't worry about where the e-mail went.

I think I may know what could be causing the problem - but I'm not sure why Apples code is crashing (this is an Apple Crash issue). It looks like it's crashing while rendering some text - and the only text I can think of would be the Time Code Track - that or the Progress Window GUI is crashing and I have no idea why that would happen.

Launch Astro IIDC 4.09.00, then click on the "Processing" menu and at the bottom of the menu, select "Hide Movie Time Code Track...". When the "Choose a File" window appears, select the Impact movie. Astro IIDC will then silently (i.e. no warning or dialog to indicate success) hide the time code track. If the movie has no time code track or it hits an error, then you may get a warning about it.

Then try Exporting FITS again. If it still happens - re-boot the Mac and then try Exporting the FITS again.

Let me know how you make out..
