I know there is a lot of disappointment from AstroIIDC users now that

the end has come into sight but please bear in mind that Milton is

probably suffering more than all of us combined.  I think we all

recognize that this piece of code transcends a mere business for him,

it's a true labour of love and a significant part of his life.  It has

allowed all of us to establish a brotherhood of Mac/Apple centric

astroimaging.  I've been a true Apple supporter from the very

beginning and still have my 2nd Apple (an Apple //e) and it's

loyalists like us that kept Apple alive in the not too distant dark

days.  However Apple no longer needs our support as evidenced by their

success in pursuing the consumer gadget market.

And that's sad because the original Apple dream is dying, just as Milton's.

So instead of vitriol let's salute Milton for leading our small band

of brothers and our stance against the conformity of Windows imaging

these past few years.

Milton, we'll miss you and you've made a real difference in the world.

And that's the highest accolade any man can aspire to.

Jim

Hear Hear Jim, I couldn't have said it better. You invest so much of yourself in a project such as this and over sooo many hours. Its not something that just can be stuck out there as freeware. Lots of selfish thoughts are seeming to been posted. I think Milton is, as usual, going the extra mile, even now, through this time. Hats off especially to Milton and to Jim for summing it up so well!

(PS. I too have been there since Apple II days and completey relate to the dying dream, very sad indeed.)
