Subject: Re: New mac coming, what to do?

I've been using Astro IIDC for several years now, and planned to buy a Golden Key weeks ago.  Then I needed to put a whole barrel of cash into a new engine for my van, which almost stopped me.

But then I thought about it, and figure that $500 for the things that Astro IIDC can do and has done for me for the past several years is really a good deal, when compared to the alternatives, such as they aren't.

I had licenses for 3 computers to run multiple cameras.  One of those is just over a year old, but the other two are about 5 and 8 years old.  I figure if we get to a point where Astro IIDC doesn't run on the latest OS and hardware, I'll just replace my old Macs with refurbed ones, if necessary.

That's my 2 cents.

Apparently there isn't.

I have an old G5, I'm considering buying a license for that I guess.

What will those of you who have already bought the software do if your computer dies? Or are have you bought golden keys already?

I just wanted to make sure I had it right, I can't buy a key now to use on a future computer, except the golden key?

Not a complaint, just trying to work out what my options are.

Cheers

I was about to buy Astro IIDC, but my mac has died, a new one is on its way, but will be another week. Is there any way I can get a key, other than the aptly named golden one?
