Very nice shot Jim;

We have been buried in snow storms and ice fog for the past 7 weeks. Actually it's white out conditions this morning with 25+ cm of snow expected and temperatures dropping to -15°C.

The only good news (if your a Skier)  is that the Sunshine ski hill near Banf has 1+ meters of snow already and will be open for Skiing November 9,2012. If it keeps up like it is now, they likely will have 2+ meters of snow by then.

After a perpetually soggy and overcast October, I finally got a chance to image Jupiter early this morning.  It actually went quite well as I had anticipated a bevy of problems having not done any planetary imaging for over half a year.
