You'd need a Firewire card for the PC.  If it's a desktop, you should be able to buy a Firewire card pretty cheap.  Laptops with card slots should also have options, though it's been that long since I've owned or used a new PC laptop I'm not sure what slots they have these days.  My old one (10+ year old Dell) has a PCMCIA/PC-Card slot that was the standard back then, and I have a Firewire card for it, which I used before I got the Mac.
