Subject: PGR Cameras for use wuth Astro IIDC

Hi Milton, as you'll recall we've had past discussions regarding our usage of Astro IIDC and PGR cameras (specifically the Flea3 2MP) for use in our public solar viewing program here at McDonald Observatory.  Your advice at the time was spot on; our current system continues to work flawlessly, and I'm working on a proposal to purchase two more PGR cameras and related hardware for use on another telescope system we use for distance learning programs.  I'm writing to get information regarding Astro IIDC compatibility with two PGR cameras, the FireWire Flea2G 1.3 MP mono, and the USB Chameleon 1.3 MP mono.  Does Astro IIDC play well with these cameras in your experience?  We did purchase the Golden Key, as I knew we would have future utility for your software.  I welcome your advice and the advice of other group members regarding these cameras...thanks!
