Glad to here it's still running. You might want to avoid Mavericks if you can, which has a lot of issues especially for multithreaded real time apps.


The Chameleon I know works, for both mono and color very well. I did a project a few years back for EGI where we had 10 mono 1280x960 USB 2 Chameleon running concurrently on a Single Mac Pro Desktop for an medical EKG brain monitoring rig. The only issues that cropped up were on their very early models (back about 3 or so years ago) where they needed a firmware update from PGR to work properly. Any current shipping model should work just fine though.


I haven't used the Flea2G model personally, but I do know some customers have used them. So It likely does work just fine. PGR does (?or did?) have an evaluation period of 1 month where could return the model if it doesn't meet your needs.
