Hey all, I thought I'd post a little something to keep this forum active.

Had the pleasure of meeting fellow member Steve Ramsden a few weekends ago and I believe he is currently somewhere in Africa doing his great solar outreach.

After a brutal winter, finally got some moments of good seeing to confirm the quality of the optics of my 12" classical cassegrain as they were made nearly 50 years ago.  These used to be one of the scopes at York University until it was ignominiously retired in favour of a 16" Meade SCT in the 1990s and the optics recently resurfaced.  I got them and made a new housing for them.
