Nice shot Jim..
Thanks for sharing..
I didn't bring my scope with me this year when I went to Saskatchewan for Christmas, weather was terrible (ice fog for 10 days each night followed by snow storms, clouds and cold) and I would have had 2 clear nights in 2.5 weeks. It was -35°C on Jan 4th and with wind chill was -45°C, the day before I drove back to Calgary. Calgary got hit with 30 cm of snow yesterday and our average day time "high" temp has been -15°C - so much for the forecasted El Nino warm winter.
Hope everyone had a great Christmas and a Happy new year..

Happy frigid New Year to all!
First sunny day I've had to test some Christmas goodies, namely a new 60mm Coronado solar etalon.
Despite all the technical difficulties associated imaging at -17C and the fact that I'm so rusty from not doing it for so long ... results are good!
