Oops, I see I have a typo on the date on the image.  It was done today 4/14.   I won't bother you with uploading a corrected version.    thanks.   Ron

Here's an image of the sunspots in AR2321 taken about 11:30am MDT.   Imaged from CosmicRock Observatory with PGR Scorpion FW camera, 60mm Ha Solar Max filter, 2x Barlow on ED80mm f/7 scope. Captured, stacked (75 frames) and processed with AstroIIDC with MacBook Pro, and PS/CS 3 and Mac Preview.   Image is inverted monochrome to enhance magnetic fields and filaments i.e., black sunspots are white.  I'm still working on processing of prominences on limb.   Looks like this will be all the Sun we get for several days with much needed spring moisture headed our way.     Ron

With clear skies this am. I put the Ha solar filter on and the Sun has some new big active sunspot regions coming around near AR2321 with big proms on the limb near by. No flares so far.www.spaceweather.com is giving a 55% odds for M class flares. Worth having a look with your solar scope before the next round of spring slop hits us tomorrow and next few days.
