I have the FW800 Grasshopper Express with the 1932x 1452 sensor gives me nearly 30 fps with AstroIIDC in 8 bit mode.  Likely faster frame rates with smaller ROIs.

Might be the camera you need to get a full sized solar disc without focal reducer.
