Subject: Fwd: new information abut El Capitan

Milton,

Apparently,

ASTRO IIDC on one of my older MacBook Pros will stack all the movies I want of any size without a problem.  The newer 2012 Mac Pro Westmere 12 core/64GB RAM that I just got 2 weeks ago is hanging up on almost every movie.  These two computers have the same exact hard drive contents.  The big difference is that the Mac Pro uses a fancy 4GB video card.

I have included the specs of each machine to see if you wouldn’t mind looking to see if you can see any issues with the new one that might be causing the issue?

I noticed that something called “ECC” was disabled on the older MacBook Pro in the memory section bt it was enabled on the new Mac Pro.  Is this something?
