Thanks for looking at it Milton.

Why do you suppose that it works on my MacBook Pro and imac but not on the Mac Pro, all using El Capitan?

From my iPhone (sorry if it's short)

Hi Stephen;

It's crashing in one of Apples libsystem_platform.dylib  routines "_platform_memmove$VARIANT$sse42".

Searching for the phrase "_platform_memmove$VARIANT$sse42" on the net,  this appears to be pretty common threading and / or memory issue in a lot of apps from 10.10 and up.

Some devlopers have fixed it by recompiling with a newer version of XCode (which I would not be able to use anyhow), others still have no idea what is causing it or a remedy and some said Apple fixed it in a later update for 10.10.5 when it was happening in 10.10.x.

There really is nothing I can suggest, except to go back to something before El Capitan. Maybe Apple will fix it, I can't touch the code to even look at it.

it doesn’t matter how large or small the first video is.  The second video will go through the sharpness calculation and then as soon is at stacks, it locks up.  It creates the non-readabe file and then freezes.
