Since the golden key is paired to a specific machine, how could this be done?

The golden key is not paired to a machine. It allows you to enable a machine to use any camera with AstroIIDC.

So once you register your copy of AstroIIDC on a Mac, this Mac can be used with any of the supported camera.

I owe a Scorpion firewire, but can´t use it on the Mac, an late 2009 MacBook Pro running El Capitan.

About an offer for it, well, I have no idea of a value to start with, and I´m afraid of beeing ofensive with a low value, so, please, if you can give me a hint...

Milton sold these for $500 at the time.

I think $300 is a fair price.
