Did it come with Drivers or is it Plug and Pray?

The reason I ask about Drivers is I bought a USB 3 PCExpress card for my MBP 17” to do USB 3 dev and the drivers they had did not fully support the USB 3 Spec. They just cobbled some Class drivers together for common devices and left it at that.

Secondly, the power Thunderbolt supplies is much lower than the FireWire spec calls for (up to 30 volts at1.5 amps or 45 watts, nominally ~13 volts and 8 watts) so perhaps they are under recommended for FireWire? Do the FW camera lights even come on when you plug them in and turn solid green?

HTH..
