Holy cow!  I honestly hadn't even tried to run Astro IIDC on my 2016 Touchbar mac because I couldn't get the Pt Grey cameras to turn on.  Maybe I had a bad cable from the OWC Dock?  

I was also getting warnings with updates to the OS that said something about Astro IIDC won't work, but maybe that was for a future OS release?  

I'm running 10.14.5 also.  And I just processed an old Mars video that was on this computer, and it worked!  

So I'll be sure and not update my OS if the opportunity arises.
